Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Audio/Video Technician to join our Home Technology department. As a Senior Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced support and expertise for audio/visual projects. This position requires you to have met all the requirements of Field Technician Level I and II, demonstrating exceptional proficiency and knowledge in the field.
Responsibilities:
– Utilize your extensive knowledge and expertise in audio/video systems to lead and assist technicians in advanced projects.
– Connect High End Home Theaters and other advanced audio equipment with precision and attention to detail.
– Perform advanced network installations to ensure seamless audio/video operations for both wireless and wired networks.
– Provide in-house basic programming support, leveraging your sales and product training in Control4.
– Install and program advanced Home Automation systems.
– Install and configure surveillance system ensuring seamless surveillance integration.
– Display expertise in rack wiring, ensuring meticulous organization and connectivity.
– Read and interpret wire diagrams to facilitate accurate installations and troubleshooting.
– Calibrate TVs and projectors to deliver outstanding visual performance.
– Showcase advanced troubleshooting skills in complex settings, resolving issues efficiently.
– Take ownership of projects, independently executing tasks efficiently.
– Provide supervision and guidance to crew members, ensuring effective collaboration and project execution.
– Mentor and supervise team members, sharing knowledge and guiding them in their work.
– Possess certifications in Savant Level 1 or Control 4 Level 2 or Vantage, including Panelized Lighting, showcasing advanced expertise.
– Conduct training sessions for employees, enhancing their skills and knowledge.
– Program and configure advanced control systems such as Control 4, Savant, Vantage, Lutron, and URC Total Control.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
– A clean driving record.
Physical Demands:
– Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull heavy equipment.
– Comfortable with climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling as needed.
Travel:
– Required travel to customer homes for service assignments.
Education:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
Schedule:
– Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
